We do not have the land yet. We are preparing faithfully for the day the vision can take root.

A shared calling

During a season that caused our family to reevaluate what matters most, God began placing the same calling on each of our hearts—separately, before either of us knew what the other was sensing.
When we finally shared it, we discovered that we had both been led toward the same essential vision: a place where our family could tend the land, grow nourishing food, welcome others, worship, and build something faithful enough to outlast us.

The future retreat is one expression of the vision.
A limited community of member families could someday spend a dedicated week each year slowing down, sharing food from the land, reconnecting with God and one another, and participating in a place built around restoration rather than consumption.
It is not a hotel, luxury resort, timeshare, or real-estate ownership interest. The details depend on land, permitting, construction, hospitality capacity, legal structure, and responsible operations.

Worship belongs near the beginning, not at the edge.
One of the first major gathering structures envisioned is the First Fruits Pavilion—a place for worship, Bible study, prayer, shared meals, teaching, fellowship, and community.
The name reflects a conviction that the land’s hospitality should begin with gratitude to God and room for people to gather, rather than treating worship as something added after every commercial feature is complete.
